9:20-9:45——–music and movement

-dance/songs/fingerplays/large motor activity

9:45-10:45——-classroom skills

-fine motor development (manipulatives, scissor skills, tracing)
-color, shape, letter and number recognition
-language concepts (phonics, rhyming)
-art and creativity

10:45-11:00——-signing times/child initiated group activity

11:00-11:30——-story time/choice play

11:30-12:00——-lunch

12:00-1:30——–rest/quiet time

1:30-2:30———choice play

2:30-3:00———snack

3:00-closing——-more story time, special events and celebrations or choice play

To balance consistency with flexibility, this general guideline of our daily schedule can vary depending on ages of children in attendance, children’s interests, special events, school schedules, etc., but will remain mostly consistent with a healthy balance of learning, play and structure to cultivate each child’s learning and development success.
