Infants

Infants receive consistent, responsive, individualized care and interaction.

They will be spoken to, mimicked and read to, especially rhymes and repetitive stories which facilitates language; they will be played with by means of fingerplays and age appropriate activities like cause and effect toys, balls, blocks and other activities; they will be stimulated with massage and exercise of arms and legs and close physical contact; they will enjoy the sound of music; and have tummy time to allow them the means to learn how to crawl, sit and eventually stand and walk.
